“puzzles” – A Collaborative Dance x Live music Guided Jam Session with 129BPM

Choreographer Quan Bui Ngoc returns with a dynamic workshop exploring the intersection of dance and other disciplines. Drawing from his experience with Les Ballets C de la B, Quan focuses on physical precision, layered movement quality, and the concept of “physical communication.” Participants will investigate the mechanics of movement, discovering how the body can express and connect beyond style or background. The workshop creates a shared space for exploration, blending structured exercises with improvisation, encouraging each participant to tap into their own creativity. It’s an open invitation to move, communicate, and discover new possibilities through the language of the body.

Programme Details

As a continuation of his workshops and classes for Les Ballets C de la B in the past years, choreographer Quan Bui Ngoc is presenting a workshop in which he shares his knowledge thanks to his experiences in working on the mix between dance and other disciplines. In his dance material he focuses on high physical precision and different quality layers. In the workshop he wants to explore with a variety of people on the way of “physical communication”. What movements live in our body, which mechanics can we change in order to communicate new realms? Quan will install a setting for a group experience in which he will try to share and discover how we can find common ground even when we are rooted and trained in different styles.  Besides that he leaves space for some improvisations in which every participant will have the freedom to explore his/her possibilities inspired by his/her own creativity.
